THE LAW REQUIRES...,
KRS 39F.180 requires agencies to report information
regarding the search for missing people to the County Emergency Manager, County SAR Coordinator and State Duty Officer. SAR-3 currently represents
Kentucky Division of Emergency Management's Area 3-The Green
River Area of Northwest Kentucky.
Counties included are:
Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean,
Ohio, Union, and Webster.
Our Mission
Upon notification, volunteers will
respond to and search with in this area or beyond (response is subject to the
availability of volunteers). Qualified dogs & trained handlers are available
for water search, cadaver detection and limited urban search & rescue. If you
think you may need SAR dogs- Call Early! Activation takes time.
